Cookies

This site sets two cookies. Both are strictly necessary, which means they are the minimum needed to let you sign in and stay signed in. Neither is used for advertising and neither is shared with anybody.

What is set

• A session cookie. Keeps track of your visit while you are here, and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. It is removed when you close your browser.
• A sign-in cookie. Remembers you for up to 90 days so you do not have to request a new link every time. Signing out removes it.

What is not set

There is no Google Analytics here, no Meta pixel, no advertising tag and no session recorder. Nothing on this site reports your behaviour to a third party.

We do record which pages and links are used, in our own database, so Avril can see what people find useful. In the setting this site ships with, those records are not linked to your name or your email address.

Video

Videos are shown as still images until you choose to play one. Nothing is loaded from YouTube, and no YouTube cookie is set, unless and until you click play.

Turning cookies off

You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the sign-in cookie is what keeps you signed in. Without it you will be asked for a new link on every page.
